Healy Earns Landmark Offensive Athlete of the Week Honors

SCRANTON, PA (September 26, 2022) -- Junior Niamh Healy (Orangeburg, N.Y. / Tappan Zee) was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon after leading The University of Scranton women's soccer team to a 2-0 week where she recorded three points on two goals and one assist.

This marks the first time in her career that Healy has been named the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week.

Healy helped the Royals to an 8-0 win over Wilkes on Tuesday night where she had an assist. She then followed up with a two goal performance on Saturday afternoon to lead Scranton to a 2-0 win over Catholic. Healy's brace marked the third of her career at Scranton and the first this season. She currently ranks tied for second on the team in both goals (2) and assists (2) on the season. 

The women's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday when they host No. 2 Misericordia at Weiss Field at 4:30 PM.
