The University of Scranton head women's lacrosse coach Chrissy Trescavage has announced the hiring of Paige Frye as an assistant coach for the program.
Frye comes to Scranton fresh off of her playing career at FDU-Florham where she appeared in 32 games for the Devils over two seasons and made 18 starts as an attacker. The Palmyra, Pa., native tallied 34 career points on 21 goals and 13 assists and helped the Devils go 32-4 over the last two seasons including an NCAA Tournament second round appearance in 2021.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree from FDU-Florham in Sport Management and will assist Trescavage in all day-to-day operations of the women's lacrosse program in her new role. Frye is also currently pursing a Master's Degree in Sport Management from her alma mater.
"We are very excited to welcome Paige to Scranton and our program. She is a great fit to help our team win a Landmark [Conference] Championship and we are lucky to have her," Trescavage said.
Frye has served as an assistant coach for the Lanco Elite Lacrosse Club since 2021 and also competed an internship in the FDU-Florham athletic department as an undergrad.
