University of Scranton women's basketball standout Bridgette Mann (Canadensis, Pa./Wallenpaupack) has added yet another accolade to her lengthy list of awards for the 2017-18 season as the junior guard was named a D3hoops.com Third Team All-American over the weekend.

The honor is the latest bestowed upon Mann, who previously earned WBCA Honorable Mention All-American laurels and was named the D3hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and Landmark Conference player of the Year.

This past season, Mann led the Lady Royals to their third straight Landmark Conference championship and a trip to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament by averaging a team-leading 15.3 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest.

The 22nd player in Scranton history to earn All-American status, Mann shot 40.0 percent from the field on the season including a 38.8 percent clip from three-point range while converting 86.0 percent of her free throw attempts, the second-best season performance in program history.

Mann made a Lady Royals' record 71 three-pointers on the season on 181 attempts, also a school record, and reached double-figures in 26 of Scranton's 30 games on the year including seven efforts of 20-or-more points.

Mann, a D3hoops.com First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region and First Team All-Landmark Conference selection, was named the Landmark Conference Championship MVP after leading the Lady Royals' to a dramatic, 59-58 overtime victory over Juniata in the conference championship game on February 24.  After being held to just four points through the first three quarters, Mann took over, scoring 10 of Scranton's final 12 points including the final six of the game to lift the Lady Royals to the title.

Mann, who reached the 1,000-point milestone this past season, ranks 18th all-time in program history in scoring with 1,213 points and is just two three-pointers away from breaking Scranton's all-time record of 181.

Led by Mann, Scranton finished the season with a 28-2 record and entered the NCAA Tournament ranked 10th in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll and seventh in the WBCA poll.  Final polls will be released later this week.
