MOOSIC, Pa. – Sophomore Danny Harding (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) matched his season-best with a 74 (+3) to earn medalist honors and The University of Scranton men's golf team remained unbeaten this fall with dual match victories over Marywood, Misericordia and Wilkes on Thursday afternoon at Glenmaura National Golf Club.
The Royals posted a 311 (+27) as a team on the day, while Marywood checked in at 318, Wilkes followed at 341 and Misericordia carded a 368.
Thursday marks the third time this season that Harding has shot a 74.
Elsewhere for Scranton, freshman Jack Novis (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) and senior Ethan Zawatski (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) both carded a 78 (+7) and freshman Gehrig Shannon (Bernardsville, N.J./Saint Peter's Prep) shot an 81 (+10). Sophomore Liam Burtis (Binghamton, N.Y./Seton Catholic Central) rounded things out for the Royals with an 83 (+12).
Marywood's Paul Appolt and Wilkes' Cole Jungwirth registered the lowest score amongst the other three teams with a 75 (+4).
The Royals return to the course on Monday for the Husky Invitational that will be hosted by Bloomsburg University at Frosty Valley Country Club. Tee time is slated for 10 a.m.
