Women's Soccer Holds Steady At No. 5 In Mid-Atlantic Region Rankings

The University of Scranton women's soccer team remains in fifth place in the Mid-Atlantic Region from the United Soccer Coaches, released Tuesday afternoon.

The Royals (7-2-2, 3-0-0 Landmark) won their only game last week, defeating Susquehanna, 3-0, on Saturday at Fitzpatrick Field. It was a key victory for the Royals, who took over sole possession of first place in the Landmark Conference. Susquehanna (10-2-1, 2-1-0) also came into the match one spot behind the Royals in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The River Hawks dropped a spot after the defeat and are now ranked seventh.
