Royals End Two-Game Spring Break Trip With 9-7 Win Over Denison (Ohio) Thursday

HILTON HEAD, SC—The University of Scranton women’s
lacrosse team ended a two-game Spring Break trip Thursday with a
9-7 victory over Denison University (Ohio).
The win snaps a two-game losing streak for the Royals, now 3-2 on
the season.
Junior midfielder Jilliana DePaolera (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) and
freshman midfielder Emily
Goss (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) led Scranton with
three goals apiece and junior attackers Deanna Giorno (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks
South) and Kaitlin Lazorko (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth
Academy) and sophomore attacker Kerry Sullivan (Oceanport, NJ/Shore Regional)
finished with one goal apiece.
Molly Sbrega led Denison, now 4-3, with four goals.
The Royals will return to action on Tuesday, March 20, against
Misericordia University beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick
Field.
