Senior guard Bridgette Mann (Canadensis, Pa./Wallenpaupack) had a big second half performance in the Lady Royals' 68-47 win at Marywood last Tuesday night, and for her efforts, she was named the University of Scranton Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 25, 2018, on Monday.

For Mann, this marks the fourth time in her career that she has been named Scranton Athlete of the Week.

In the Marywood game, Mann led four double-digit scorers with her 18-point performance. In the second half of the contest alone, Mann had 12 points, as she nailed six three-pointers overall for the game. The senior also grabbed six rebounds to go along with two assists and two steals.

For the year, Mann has scored in double-figures in all three games the Lady Royals have played, hitting 18 points in two of those contests to average 14.7 points a game. In Scranton's first game of the year on Nov. 16 vs. King's, she broke Scranton's all-time made three-pointers for a career record, as she has now made 192 triples.

Mann and the rest of the seventh-ranked University of Scranton women's basketball team returns to action on Monday night, as they host DeSales in their first game of the season inside the John Long Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
