The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics built NBA dynasties at one time, and the Golden State Warriors have been pretty good in recent years. But no team can compare to the one that has dominated The University of Scranton men's basketball team's golf classic over the past seven years.

The champs - Mike Manci, P.J. Farrell, Matt Dougherty and Eric Williams - made it seven straight by winning the 17th annual golf classic, held at Glen Oak Country Club in nearby Clarks Summit. The foursome posted an impressive score of 11-under-par 61 to retain the crown.

While all challengers again fell short of dethroning the champs, a great time was had by all. Head coach Carl Danzig, assistant coach Ryan Van Zelst and the men's basketball team thank all those who came out and supported the event.
