Directions to The University of Scranton’s
Athletic Facilities
Field Hockey/Lacrosse/Soccer Field (Fitzpatrick Field, Univ. of
Scranton Campus):
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (exit 185
off Rt. 81 N & S). Follow for approximately ½ mile and
take a right onto the Cedar Avenue Exit. At the stop sign, make a
right onto Cedar Avenue and follow for approximately .2/mile. Then
make a right onto Laurel Line Drive. Parking will be on your left
and the field will be straight ahead.

Basketball/Wrestling/Volleyball (John Long Center, Univ.
of Scranton Campus):
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (Exit 185
off I-81 N&S). Follow the signs to The University of Scranton.
Stay in the far right hand lane as you proceed under the railroad
tracks. Turn right onto Madison Avenue and follow to the stop sign.
Make a right onto Linden Street and follow to the next stop sign.
You will see St. Thomas Hall directly in front of you. Take a right
onto Monroe Avenue and follow it to the next stop sign. Proceed
left onto Ridge Row and follow for 100 yards. The rear entrance to
the John Long Center will be on your left. Please proceed another
100 yards and make two immediate left-hand turns for parking.

Swimming Pool (Byron Complex, Univ. of Scranton
Campus):
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (Exit 185
off I-81 N&S). Follow the signs to the University of Scranton.
Stay in the far right hand lane as you proceed under the railroad
tracks. Turn right onto Madison Avenue and follow to the stop sign.
Make a right onto Linden Street and follow to the next stop sign.
You will see St. Thomas Hall directly in front of you. Take a right
onto Monroe Avenue and follow it to the next stop sign. Proceed
left onto Ridge Row and follow for 100 yards. The rear entrance to
the Byron Complex will be on your left. Please proceed another 100
yards and make two immediate left-hand turns for parking.
Softball Field (Jessup Youth Sports Association Complex,
Jessup, Pa., approximately 10 miles from The University of
Scranton):

From Wilkes-Barre: Take 81 North to Route 6 East (Carbondale), which is also known as the Governor Robert P. Casey Highway. Take Exit 3 (Jessup, Route 247) and bear left at the traffic light at the end of the ramp. Go approximately 3/4 of a mile down a steep incline into the town of Jessup and the field is on your left-hand side.
From Philadelphia: Take the Northeast extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Route 476) to 81 North and follow the directions from Wilkes-Barre listed above.
From New York and New Jersey: Take 80 West to Route 380 North (Scranton). Follow 380 North until it ends and then take Route 6 East (Carbondale). Take Exit 3 (Jessup, Route 247) and bear left at the traffic light at the end of the ramp. Go approximately 3/4 of a mile down a steep incline into the town of Jessup and the field is on your left-hand side.
From New York via Route 84: Take 84 East (it merges with Route 380 North outside Scranton) to Route 6 East (Carbondale). Take Exit 3 (Jessup, Route 247) and bear left at the traffic light at the end of the ramp. Go approximately 3/4 of a mile down a steep incline into the town of Jessup and the field is on your left-hand side.
From Binghamton, New York via Route 81 South: Take 81 South to Exit 187 Towards Carbondale (Route 6 East, Governor Robert P. Casey Highway). Take Exit 3 (Jessup, Route 247) and bear left at the traffic light at the end of the ramp. Go approximately 3/4 of a mile down a steep incline into the town of Jessup and the field is on your left-hand side.

From Wilkes Barre: Take Rt. 81
north to exit #182 AB (Davis St./Montage Mtn. Road). At the light
turn left onto Montage Mtn Road. At the next light, turn left onto
Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston Ave. and turn right. Follow
Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn right onto O'Hara St.
Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the park.
From Mid Valley: Take Main St.
to Rt. 81 South to exit #182 B (Davis St./Montage Mtn. Road). Turn
right onto Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston Ave. and turn right.
Follow Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn right onto O'Hara
St. Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the park.
From the Abington's: Take Rt.
6 & 11 South to Rt. 81 South to exit #182 B (Davis St./Montage
Mtn. Road). Turn right onto Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston
Ave. and turn right. Follow Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn
right onto O'Hara St. Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks
to the park.
From the Pocono's: Take I-380
to rt. 81 South to exit #182 B (Davis St./Montage Mtn. Road). Turn
right onto Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston Ave. and turn right.
Follow Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn right onto O'Hara
St. Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the park.
From Downtown Scranton: Take
Pittston Ave. to the 2100 block. Turn left onto O'Hara St. Continue
on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the park.
From Philadelphia: Take the

Rt. 81 north to exit #182 AB (Davis St./Montage Mtn. Road). ). At
the light turn left onto Montage Mtn Road. At the next light, turn
left onto Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston Ave. and turn right.
Follow Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn right onto O'Hara
St. Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the park.
From Western Pa.: Take Rt. 80
East to Rt. 81 north to exit #182 AB (Davis St./Montage Mtn. Road).
At the light turn left onto Montage Mtn Road. At the next light,
turn left onto Davis St. Go two lights to Pittston Ave. and turn
right. Follow Pittston Ave. for nine (9) blocks. Turn right onto
O'Hara St. Continue on O'Hara St. for three (3) blocks to the
park.

Golf (Glenmaura National Golf Club, Moosic)
From New York, or New Jersey: Take
I-80 West to I-380 North. Take Rte. 81 South to Davis
Street/Montage Mountain Exit (Exit 183). After taking Exit 183 off
Rte. 81 S., at the first traffic light you will make a left turn
onto Davis Street. You will go through another traffic light, and
then make a right turn onto Montage Rd. Follow for 1 mile. At first
traffic light you will make another right turn onto Glenmaura
National Blvd. As you drive down Glenmaura National Blvd. You will
see the Clubhouse off to the right.
From Philadelphia: Take N. E.
extension of the PA Turnpike. Go north to the Wyoming Valley Exit.
¼ mile, make a right turn onto Scranton exit (first exit
after tollbooth). Take Rte. 81 North to Davis Street/Montage
Mountain Exit (Exit 183). After taking Exit 183, off Rte. 81, make
an immediate right turn onto Montage Mountain Rd. and follow for 1
mile. At first traffic light you will make another right turn onto
Glenmaura National Blvd. As you drive down Glenmaura National Blvd.
You will see the Clubhouse off to the right.

Tennis Courts (Royal Tennis Courts, University of
Scranton Campus):
Take the Central Scranton Expressway (Exit 185
off I-81 N&S). Follow the signs to the University of Scranton.
Stay in the far right hand lane as you proceed under the railroad
tracks. Turn right onto Madison Avenue and follow to the stop sign.
Make a right onto Linden Street and follow to the next stop sign.
You will see St. Thomas Hall directly in front of you. Take a right
onto Monroe Avenue and follow it to the next stop sign. Proceed
left onto Ridge Row and follow for .3/mile. The facility will be on
your right.
